ITEM No.: 14 CD No.: 102 EMBOSSING: (f) <> COLOR: Dark olive green. CONDITION: Extreme dome wear from chair movement. One has a base rim slice. SUMMARY: Set of four diamond ponies that were most likely used as insulators on a chair. ‘Chair-leg insulators’ are found on occasion, but rarely as an original set and with this much wear from years of usage. One of the ponies in this set has a deeper pinhole, which resulted in the dome wearing completely through! Possibly from a telegrapher or operator’s chair?
