ITEM No.: 25 CD No.: 143 EMBOSSING: none COLOR: Purple and sage two-tone. CONDITION: Minor lower wire ridge surface flake and a couple of very minor base flakes. An easy vnm. SUMMARY: Due to the crude surface texture of the glass, this popular Canadian beehive is referred to by collectors as the ‘whittle mold’ style. The two-tone effect appears quite subtle until this insulator is displayed in a backlit showcase. The dome is primarily purple, fading to a smoky purple, then sage green in the skirt.
